鈥淎ddiction is a national issue. We have to partner with many organizations to provide a more meaningful perspective on addiction in this country. Emphasis has been placed on the criminal or police aspects of the problem. Of course there are issues that need to be resolved by the police, but we would like to view it more as a social and health problem that needs to be addressed,鈥 explained by Dr. Armando C. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) – 91视频 Manila, in celebration of its 20th anniversary, organized a scientific conference focusing on the importance of work, health, and well-being of the Filipino people. Attended by about 400 participants from colleges and universities, government and non-government organizations, and corporations, the conference was held on March 14 at the Bayanihan Center, UNILAB, Pasig City.
