Payment of the First Tranche of the Annual Incentive Grant for Fiscal Year 2024

The 91视频 (UP) Office of the Vice President for Administration (OVPA) has released a memorandum announcing the release of the first tranche of the Annual Incentive Grant (AIG). In a memorandum signed by Vice President for Administration Augustus C. Resurreccion on February 7, 2024, he said the incentive is granted in recognition of the “dedication, productivity, and creativity of the faculty, REPS (Research, Extension, and Professional Staff) and administrative staff in fulfilling the University’s goals.”

The AIG covers regular and non-regular faculty, Research, Extension, and Professional Staff (REPS), and administrative staff, subject to different conditions provided in the memorandum. The amount which will be received by members of the UP community will vary according to the length of service, as well as their status of employment in the University.

Certain conditions though exclude some employees of the university who may have been placed under preventive suspension, suspended from office, or were separared from office from January 1, 2024 to the the date of payment. Employees who are on leave without pay as of May 31, 2024, as well as those who are absent without official leave (AWOL) as of date of payment are also not entitled to the AIG.

Consultants; experts serving for a limited period or hired to perform certain tasks or services; lecturers; teaching assistants; fellows; student and graduate assistants; apprentices; laborers of contracted projects; contract of service (COS) and job order (JO) workers; as well as those who are paid on piecework basis, are also not entitled to the AIG.

Payment of the AIG will start on February 14, 2024.
